Many of the wineries have tasting rooms in which visitors are invited to learn
about the various wines and offer tours to teach guests about the winemaking
process. Some wineries host special dinners to demonstrate the pairing of wine
with food and they hold events such as concerts, dramatic readings and art
shows which are open to the public.

Buttonwood
Buttonwood Farm Winery is a small gem set amidst the splendor of Santa Barbara County's Santa Ynez Valley. Our 39-acre vineyard stretches across a sun-drenched mesa on the eastern portion of our 106-acre property. We started planting in 1983 and now have 33,000 vines, small in the world of wine, but huge to us.
Buttonwood's varietal mix of sauvignon blanc, semillon, marsanne, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and syrah reflects the preferences of owners Betty Williams and her son-in-law, Bret Davenport, for Bordeaux and Rhone style wines. As we expected, they grow perfectly in our warm, eastern Santa Ynez Valley location.

Lucas & Lewellen
The vineyards of Lucas & Lewellen are located in the three principal wine grape growing regions of Santa Barbara County: the Santa Maria Valley, the Los Alamos Valley, and the Santa Ynez Valley. These valleys all run west from the coastal mountains to the Pacific Ocean, allowing warm days and cool nights to produce a long, gentle growing season. From the finest estate grown grapes come the finest wines. Visit us to taste our premium hndcrafted Santa Barbara County wines.

Mandolina
Known for approachable style and excellent quality at reasonable prices, Mandolina produces estate-grown Italian varietals including Pinot Grigio, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Moscato, Sangiovese, and ever popular Super-Tuscan blends of Bordeaux and Italian varietals.
The emergence of the California-Italian varieties is the most exciting development in Santa Barbara County wine making in the past 30 years.

Presidio
Presidio Vineyard & Winery's goal is to produce handcrafted ultra-premium varietal wines from our certified organic and Biodynamic® estate vineyard (the Presidio Vineyard) located west of the Santa Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County.
Presidio has found that using chemical fertilizers leads to unbalanced wines with undesirable aromatics. In the Presidio Vineyard, organic and Biodynamic techniques are practiced using composts to create a healthy, more balanced soil, accentuating the desirable aromatics of the fruit.

Riverbench Vineyard
Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when its first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the property. For years since then, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased our fruit for their own wines. Over time Riverbench has become a prominent name for high quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Santa Maria Valley.

Tres Hermanas Vineyard & Winery
Founded in 2001 by Marvin & Paulette Teixeira with the planting of a small vineyard on their cattle ranch. Tres Hermanas (Three Sisters) was named for the couples three daughters, Stacey, Tracey & Marcey. Our label is a picture of the barn that exhibits the JT cattle brand, which was Marvin's fathers brand used to identify cattle today. The barn still exists on the winery property. The ranch is still headquarters for the family cattle operation. Our first harvest was in the fall of 2003 with the tasting room opening in July of 2007.

Sort This Out Cellars
Welcome to Sort This Out Cellars. Home of Good Times and Great Wines! Our winery is the quintessential example of the modern wine industry. We are a small producer of great tasting, fun wines that are reflective of our passion for wine, friends and good times. People always ask us, "Where is your winery?", "What types of grapes do you grow?", and the truth is we don't own our own wine making facility, and we don't grow any grapes. "How can that be?", you ask. Well...it's simple. The wine industry is exploding with micro producers, like us, who make wines in co-operative wine making facilities. We use several of these small co-ops including our main production facility located in, Templeton, California. Considering the cost of land and buildings, not to mention the issues at the city, county, state, and federal level with building a winery, it makes great sense for small wine producers like us to pool our resources and share facilities.
